She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Russell Anderson, her mother Helen Haynes of Springfield, MO, brother, Greg Butts (wife, Lynn) and niece, Sally Butts of Vancouver WA, niece Mary Coyne (husband, Pete) of Alberta, Canada and great nephew Brady Coyne and great niece Hannah Coyne.
Judy graduated from East Anchorage High School in Alaska. She received a BA from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon and a MA from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN.
