Oh my lipstick. I did not know you had left and it saddens my heart to hear this but I know that you are in heaven praising the Lord. Roger and the family I just found out when a co-worker told me otherwise I would had been there. We had so much fun working together at Genex and going to the church to pray. Karen (lipstick) I will see you later. Love Johnequia

Loving friend, you have been a light in my life since we met in 1995, nurses training together on a new job at Healthsource/Provident, then moving on together to Genex. We would walk the bridge, talk, talk, talk and with several other Christian ladies go to the church (next door) to pray during our lunch break. You were and still are a Blessing from God to everyone who has ever crossed your path.
My description of you is: Loving the Lord first, The best sense of humor ever!, Wonderful laugh, Great hugs, A Colorful spirit inside & out, loving and giving always. I'm not saying good-bye because I plan to see you again someday, sitting by the side of Jesus.

Roger, Ronetta and family so sorry to hear of Karen’s passing. I worked with Karen at the hospital. She was a kind and caring person. She always had a smile! She was a great nurse and friend. Keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Hazel Proffitt Memorial Hixson

Yogi was the best sister you could ask for. She had many great qualities outside of her personality and sense of humor and her laughter everyone knew she was also a very positive person who never had anything bad to say about anyone and was a peacemaker and someone who just loved life. She will leave a void in everyone’s life and there will be days ahead they will be tough. But knowing that she’s with her Lord and Savior and I will see her again one day makes it special. You will be missed dearly. Your little and favorite brother Kelton .

My heart is broken. Karen was always so sweet, fun to be around, and beautiful inside and out. The last time we went on a woman’s retreat together we just had the best time. You made such an impression on me. We loved each other from the moment we met. She inspired me so much being one of the most Godly woman I have I have ever met. I know you are completely healed now and with our Heavenly Father. Until we meet again my dear friend.
