Kendred “Jack” Miller Hudgins, 89, of Soddy Daisy, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, June 17, 2015 in a local health care facility. Mr. Hudgins had been a member of the Soddy United Methodist Church for many years, was a member of the Soddy Lions Club, and served in the Army Air Force.
Mr. Hudgins was preceded in death by his daughter, Joy Hudgins Weir. He is survived by his companion of 35 years, Nell Smith; sons, Ken (Kathy) Hudgins and Ed (Toni) Hudgins; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Evelyn (Tommy) Cate; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held Monday, June 22, 2015 from 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. at North Chapel. A celebration of life will follow at 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers the family has ask that memorial contributions be made to Soddy United Methodist Church, 255 Depot Street Soddy Daisy, TN 37379.
