Kenny was born and raised in Chattanooga to the late Earl and Earline Hall Boles. He was a 1964 graduate of Soddy Daisy High School. Ken served our country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War and the Panama Conflict. He was a retired letter carrier for the United States Postal Service with the Signal Mountain route for over 30 years. Ken was very active in the Boy Scouts of America and was an avid fan of the Tennessee Volunteers.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Kailie, and a brother, Earl Boles.
Ken is survived by his wife of 20 years, Karen Boles; children, Mike (Melissa) Boles, Daisy (Freddy) Whitt and Heather Boles; stepsons, Derek (Angel) Tanner and Scott (Kara) Tanner; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 pm on Sunday, June 1st, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
A private family graveside service with military honors will be held at 11 am on Monday, June 2nd, at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
