Kenneth Ray Burroughs

He was born on January 17, 1943, in Soddy -Daisy, Tennessee. Kenneth was married to the love of his life Lynda for 54 years. He was a long-time member of Union Fork Baptist Church. Kenneth was a devoted Christian man that loved his church and church family.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Lynda, his parents, Richard and Louise Legg Burroughs, and brothers, Billy Sr. and Charles Burroughs.

He is survived by his loving nephew and caretaker Butch; nephew Dennis Edward Varner; nieces Susan Varner Edwards and Allison Varner as well as sister-in-law Lora Burroughs; aunt Irene Thomas Ammons; cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends from 4-6 pm on Tuesday, December 16, and 1 to 2 pm on Wednesday, at North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Kenneth’s life will follow on Wednesday, December 17 at 2 pm at the North Chapel with Pastor Jeff Myers officiating.

Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
