He is survived by his parents, Jason Gilchrist and Jennifer Whitaker of Fort Wayne; grandparents,
Sherry and John Hoke of Ashville, N.C.; grandfather, Manolo Cruz of Chattanooga; Ron and Tammy Gilchrist of Cartersville, GA; Cherie Gilchrist of Soddy Daisy, TN, Aunts and Uncles, Scott and Aria Gilchrist, Ryan and Affton Gilchrist, Taylor, Sydney and Jamie Cruz.
Graveside services will be held 3:45 PM Tuesday, October 12 at Hamilton Memorial Gardens, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, TN 37343.
