Larry was a graduate of Chattanooga High School. Larry attended the University of Tennessee Chattanooga and Chattanooga State. He worked for Chattanooga Boiler and Tank and Alloy Fabricators for most of his life. Larry was a member of 1st Presbyterian Church and was an Elder for Westminster Presbyterian and Calvary Bible Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall and Hazel Ryan.
Left behind to cherish Larry’s memory are his loving wife of 60 years, Nancy Gilreath Ryan, sons, Steve (Chastity) Ryan and Danny (Teresa) Ryan, brother, Mike Ryan, sister, Pat Kimball, and many dear friends.
A Celebration of Larry’s Life will be held graveside in the Hamilton Memorial Gardens on Monday November 27, 2023 at 12:00 pm with Earl Freudenberg officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Tony Bradford, Tommy Cates, Lanval Gumbs, Brent Matthews, David Stephenson, & Kevin Thompson.
