Laura Lea Berrier, 46, of Soddy Daisy, died at a local hospital Sunday, January 21, 2018, following complications of an auto accident. She was a 1989 graduate of Hixson High School and a graduate of MTSU in Murfreesboro, TN with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology. She was a health services provider and Senior Psychological Examiner at the Center for a Brighter Tomorrow in Chattanooga, TN. Laura was devoted to her clients, a lover of the arts, music and animals. She was gifted at the piano and saxophone. Counseling teens and young adults held a special place in her heart. With a loving and giving heart she was an organ donor. She is preceded in death by her grandparents and father, Calvin Lee Berrier, III. She is survived by her mother, Jeanne Berrier; brothers, Phillip and Michael Berrier; sisters, Janet Robinson and Suzanne Vogler; several nieces and a nephew and friend, Ginger Terrell. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Partnership for Families, Children and Adults, 1800 McCallie Avenue, Chattanooga, TN 37404 or River Animal Hospital, 2132 Amnicola Highway, Chattanooga, TN 37406. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 1 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel. A burial will be held privately.
