Saddened to hear of the passing of sweet Lauren. She dated my late brother-in-law and she spent several Christmases with us, we considered Lauren as family! Her voice was always so pleasant and soft, don't think I ever heard her raise her voice....To her two children and her grands, hang on to all those precious memories of her and let them be of comfort to you all....Rest in Peace my sweet sweet friend!!!

I lived with Lauren at Mountain Creek apartments many years ago. It was a great time to be young and we had lots of fun. We reconnected about 22 years ago for drinks and to talk about old times. I actually ran into another friend that night that I knew since I was 5. We ended up getting married 1 year later. I have to thank Lauren for that - I would not have been in that restaurant if we weren't meeting that night.

I have had the good fortune of working with Lauren over last 29 years . I am a co-owner with Mike Crabtree based out of Little Rock. I had the pleasure of interacting with her daily over the phone and loved her willingness to do anything with such a fun , cheerful disposition. She Was a rock for us, especially during the time Mike and I were buying the company in 2000. Please know that she will be missed and we loved her for who she was to and for us!!! So sorry for your loss. Please let us know if we can do anything.

Dear Family,

I am shocked and stunned to hear about Lauren. We talked on Sunday a week ago. She talked about retiring and said the first thing she was going to do was get on a plane and come see me and go to a Casino...LOL. We talked about going on the train to New Orleans and how much fun we would have on that adventure. She told me she had 2 weeks vacation and wanted to come up and stay 1 night at Tiny house, this week, with me at Harrison Bay. I told her to come on and we could float on the lake, talk , and relax, and have a little wine. Beth called me early this morning and told me the heartbreaking news.

Lauren and I have known each other for 62 years. She allowed me to stay with her on several occasions when I was back and forth with my parents for years and years, even at Christmas one year. Her kindness, love and friendship will stay a vital part of my remaing years. The last thing we said to each other is I Love You. That should be the way we all end our conversations. I loved her. She stood by me in the hard times and tried to help heal the wounds. Lauren loved her Children and Grands and would always update me on their status.

I could go on and on about our younger years, but that would be a book. I know she is finally healthy in the Hands of God and reunited with her beloved parents.

Love, Charla Lofton
