Leo “Kub” Kubiszak, 86, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away Friday, July 17, 2015. A native of East Chicago, Indiana, he has been a resident of the Chattanooga area for the past 53 years. He attended St. Jude Catholic Church and was retired from Combustion Engineering with 42 years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a longtime member and past President of the Hixson Lions Club. He was preceded in death by his son, Steven Kubiszak; two grandsons, Ryan Brett and Tyler Gamble; son-in-law, Thomas Brett. Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years Agnes Wynell Kubiszak; daughters Gloria Clark and Anita Brett both of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Stephanie Kubiszak, Tabitha Crittendon, Chase Clark, Rebecca Hagan, Brittney Milsap, Dustin Brett and Tsigana Kubiszak; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Landon, Serenity, Aaliyah and Hannah. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the North Chapel with Pastor Mia Pittman-Head officiating. Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Active Pallbearers will be Norman Clark, Ron Hagan, Tommy Milsap, Dustin Brett, Chase Clark and Corey Gray; honorary pallbearers will be Aiden Hindman and Landon Kubiszak. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday before the service at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 5401 Highway 153.
