

He was born in San Nicolas, Pangasinan, Philipines, and was a graduate of Tayug Public High School. A graduate of the University of the Philipines- Quezon City with a BA, Cum Laude, in Psychology and MA in Public Administration. Leodegario came to the Twin Cities and obtained a PhD at the University of Minnesota in 1975, in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. He was a Professor at Winona State University from 1976 until his retirement in 1999, and upon retirement he was confirmed Professor Emeritus.
Leodegario was preceded in death by his parents, Leodegario Soriano Sr., and Lourdes Emelia DeVera Soriano, and 3 brothers, Elpedio “Peding” Soriano, Rogelio “Gil” Soriano, and Leomar Soriano.
He is survived by his wife, Leonor Soriano; son, Ariel (Mary) Soriano; grandson, Lucas Soriano; 2 sisters, Milagros “Mila” Soriano Dela Cruz, and Resurrection “Rose” Agos; and 2 brothers, Orlando (Daisy) Soriano, and Mario Soriano.
Services will be held on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at 11:00 AM EDT, at St. Jude Catholic Church, in Chattanooga, TN, with Father Charlie Burton officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
