Ms. Spangler along with the late Hoss Brown worked the Spangler farms from childhood. She traveled the world practicing holistic medicine.
She is survived by her parents, Dr. Benton F. Spangler of Signal Mountain and Dee Kessel of Hixson; two sisters, Jan Harley of Birmingham, AL and Dana Bryan of Cleveland, TN; four nieces, Courtney Hendon, Ashley Sexton, Mary Beth Scott, and Sarah Bryan; one uncle Dr. H. Burton (Margaret) Spangler of Houston, TX; two aunts Kay Waters of Maryville, TN and Ann McClintock of Plantation, FL.
Memorial services and burial will be private.
The Spangler family extends their gratitude and appreciation to all that have given acts of kindness, help and prayers.
