Lindsey Elizabeth Hayes, 39, of Ooltewah, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 30, 2024. Lindsey was a native of Chattanooga, born on March 18, 1985. She was an endovascular surgical assistant at Memorial Hospital. She was a graduate of Central High School and received her Associate Degree from Miller-Motte. Lindsey was a member of Silverdale Baptist Church, Ooltewah Campus. Most of all, she was the best mom ever. She loved her family endlessly, especially, her husband and two daughters. She served the Lord daily and selflessly gave to everyone around her.
Lindsey was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Wayne and Nancy Wyatt and her paternal grandparents, Bertia Hilliard and Mary and Ray Waller.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Cody Hayes; parents, Freddie and Dale Hilliard; daughter Raelin Hayes; step-daughter, Chevy Hayes; brother, Matt Hilliard and sister-in-law, Erica Hilliard; two nieces, Brooklyn and Aubree Hilliard; 3 aunts and two uncles and 4 cousins.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 4th from 4-7 pm and on Friday, April 5th from 12-1 pm at Silverdale Baptist Church-Ooltewah Campus, 8761 Snowy Owl Rd. Funeral services will be at the church at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens, Hixson. Pallbearers include Travis Wright, Jeremy Wilson, Daniel Smith, Mason Pirtle, Cody Hayes, and Matthew Hilliard.
