She was born on June 16, 1967 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late Edward and Doris Melton. Her paternal grandparents, James and Adele Melton, maternal grandparents, Claude and Elsie Scott and grandson, Xavier Curtis precede her in death.
Lorri was the grooviest lady you will ever meet. She worked as a Sales Associate in the box office for the Memorial Auditorium and Tivoli Theatre for 13 years. She loved to jam out to music, but what she loved the most was being with her family and being “Mammy” to her grandkids. “We will love and miss you forever, until we meet again.”
Left behind to cherish her memory is her husband, Raymond “Wa-Wa” Robinson; daughter, Monica (Joseph) Brignac; grandchildren, Levi and Mary Celeste Brignac, Deshaun Irvin; siblings, Randy Melton, Lisa Wilson; niece, Elizabeth (Tate) Smith; nephew, Chip (Jasmine) Wilson and many other family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 in the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. A graveside will follow at 1:30 pm at Chattanooga National Cemetery, 1200 Bailey Avenue, Chattanooga, TN. 37421.
