

She was a member of Inglewood Baptist Church in Nashville, TN, where she previously resided for many years before moving to Chattanooga. She and her late husband, Luther, shared a love of Christian music and devoted their lives to their Lord and their family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Drummond; her parents, Robert E. Lee Smith and Ora Smith; brothers, Bob Smith and Oda Smith and sister, Oma Smith.
Louise is survived by her daughter, and son-in-law, Shirley D. and Charles Martin; three loving grandchildren, Lisa Myhan and husband, Mark Myhan, Terri Skolfield and Steven Martin. She also leaves sweet memories to three great grandchildren, Tara Hurt and husband Troy, Daniel Skolfield and Matthew Skolfield. She is also survived by two great great grandsons, Zane Hurt and Frankie Skolfield; as well as several nephews and nieces.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Bruce Johnson and his nurse Dawn and also the staff of the Hospice Unit at Memorial Hospital for their wonderful care. Also gratitude to the staff and residents of Martin Boyd Christian Home.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
Graveside services for Louise will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 28th at Hamilton Memorial Gardens, 5401 Highway 153 in Hixson, with Pastor Brian Kurtz officiating.
Donations in her memory may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4411 Oakwood Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37416 or to the American Heart Association.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist.
