Mrs. Marcia Lyn Parker, 61, of Hixson passed away on Wednesday, May 10-2017. Marcia was a Planning Technician for the City of Chattanooga. She was an avid animal lover. She was preceded in death by her father, Bruce Nelson. Survivors include her husband, Randy Parker; son, Jonathan Wade Spetz; mother, Evelyn Nelson; brothers, Andy Nelson, Steve Nelson, and Mike Nelson; sister, Mary Booth; granddaughter, Samantha Spetz; half brother, John Hess;step-son, Rhea Michael Parker; and her fur babies, Harley Rhea and Sadie. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 12th from 4-8 PM and Saturday, May 13th from 10-11 AM at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel, Hixson. The funeral service will be on Saturday, May 13th at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the care of the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
