

Marcia Bull Sivley, 75, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on June 15, 2026. Born December 25, 1950, Marcia’s life was a steady testament to devotion, rooted in faith, strengthened by courage, and marked by the quiet, uplifting way she inspired those around her.
Marcia graduated from Hixson High School in 1968, beginning a life defined by commitment and purpose. She later retired from Chattanooga State Community College after serving with distinction for 40 years in the Allied Health Department, where her faithful, steady presence and devoted service left a lasting impression.
A faithful follower of God, Marcia cherished her church family. She was a longtime member of Harmony Baptist Church and a current member of Greenwood Baptist Church, where her faith and encouragement were felt in the lives she touched.
Left behind to cherish Marcia’s life are her beloved husband of 56 years, Gary Sivley; her sister, Janice Smith (Gary); her daughter, Deni Sivley Richardson (Rob); and her son, Mitchell Sivley (Crystal); along with 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, EC Bull; her mother, Reta Bull Whitten; and brothers, Michael and Brandon Bull.
A Celebration of Marcia's Life will be held at Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel on Saturday June 20, 2026, at 1pm. The family will receive friends on Friday June 19, 2026, from 5-8 pm and again prior to the service on Saturday beginning at 12pm until the time of service. She will be laid to rest in the Hamilton Memorial gardens.
