Margaret Smith Daniel

Born on January 4, 1931, Margaret was a former, long-time resident of Red Bank and Signal Mountain, TN.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years Dillard Daniel and daughter, Cynthia Daniel Pulliam of Signal Mountain, TN.

Margaret, a long-time employee of UT Chattanooga retired at the age of 78 as Director of Adult Services and was especially passionate about working with returning students to help them achieve their degrees and goals. She will be missed greatly by her family, colleagues, and friends.

Margaret is survived by her son Jeffrey Daniel and daughter-in-law, Kathryne Daniel and grandsons Collin, Bryce and Cooper Daniel and Logan Waddell as well as her son-in-law, Jim Pulliam.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 pm on Monday, January 8, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Dr. Fred Steelman officiating.
