She was the loving wife for 68 years of Floyd Britton, Sr. and dear mother of Peggy Britton Morrison (John French Morrison) and Floyd Glenn Britton, Jr. (Nancy Christian Britton)
Marjorie was also a loving grandmother of Jason French Morrison, Britt Morrison (Jon) Delk and Dennis Glenn (Julie) Britton; great-grandchildren are Colby and Emma Britton, Holden, Eloise and Henry Delk. She was one of ten children and is survived by her sisters, June (Norman) Plunkett, Martha Sue Smith, Phyllis Waller and Mary Lou Hamill, and many nieces and nephews.
She was previously employed at from Davenport Hosiery Mill and retired from Cutters Laboratory as an Inspector.
Visitation will be 11 AM to 1 PM on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at the funeral home.
Funeral Service will be at 1 PM on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at the funeral home with Robert Johnson and Ruth Hughes officiating.
Burial will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park.
