Mark was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend. He worked all his life taking care of his family and others that needed him. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to laugh and play jokes on his friends and family.
Mark was a master carpenter, for over 30 years he worked with wood building homes, remodeling, custom furniture and guitars. If it was made of wood he could build it. Mark was a mentor to others teaching them the craft and the tricks of the trade. His latest venture was building custom furniture and remodeling yachts in Naples, Florida.
Mark enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and riding his Harley. He loved talking to others about the Lord! He spent many hours sharing the love of Jesus and how he had changed his life and carried him through many trying times. Mark wanted others to know that peace.
He was preceded in death by his only child, Brad Corder, his maternal grandparents, Amanda and Charles Doss; paternal grandparents Pearl and Ellis Corder; his loving brother Wayne Corder and a baby sister.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 42 years, Pam Corder; mother and father Deana and Bobby Corder; sisters, Darlene (Steve) Jones, Donna (Marty) Miller; brothers, William (Sheila) Corder, Roger Corder and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.
The family will have a private visitation on Thursday, October 14, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
