Just seen this on the internet. So sorry, I really loved Martha and although I haven't seen her since high school I still consider her a dear and precious friend. She'd get nervous before a game and her lips would swell up. I'd tell her to calm down, it would be alright. She was a majorette and I was a flag bearer. She's such a wonderful person.

Hello my Love. I continue to hear your words you spoke to me before you left. I am "moving on" but it is difficult. I continue to make mistakes but your words of encouragement resonate in my brain. I am doing better with the clothes washing! I will be leaving soon again on another trip. You will be with me. I stopped by your gavesite yesterday and cried over you. I love you. We did the best we could. Thank you for all of it.

It's been a little over a month since we lost my sister. I miss her every day. I was driving through downtown Franklin the other day and saw a shop that has been there for a while but had never noticed before. It's called "Emaline". I had to pull over and cry for a bit. Although I know I will never see you again in this life, I am comforted by the fact that we share two fathers. And my prayer is that we will all see each other again one day. Thank you for all that you were and thank you for bringing joy to so many. I continue to pray for and speak to Don as he has become my adopted brother - no longer a brother-in-law. Until we meet again...

Don, I am so sorry for your loss. I just saw the news in the Bastrop paper. Always enjoyed visiting with you two at the HEB photo lab and sharing your vacation stories and adventures. Martha was such a joyous person and alway smiling when I saw her. May God give you the strength during this most trying time.
