Mary was born on November 13, 1918, in Etowah County, Alabama and was a longtime resident of the Chattanooga area. She was a former member of Trinity Woodmore United Methodist Church, the Women’s Circle and currently a member of Brainerd United Methodist Church. Mary was an avid gardener and a member of the Brainerd Garden club where she served a term as President.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. Trevor, Jr.; parents, Bevlia P and Essie Overstreet Hill; sister, Lillian H. Voigt and a brother, James H. Hill.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Susan T. (James) Clemons and a son, Thomas W. (Ann) Trevor, III; grandchildren, James S. Clemons, III, Lara Clemons Driggers, Mary H. Robert; great grandchildren, Benson and Trevor Driggers; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the North Chapel.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Rev. Perry Scruggs officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Brainerd United Methodist Church.
