Merry is frequently thought of and someone I will never forget.

Merry is still very much with me, because I often re-tell stories of her and the good she did as a nurse working with the blind/deaf at  Helen Keller. 
I once asked how she spent a mysterious two-week vacation and she finally reluctantly told me that she traveled from New York to Georgia to sit by the bedside of a former (blind-deaf) patient who was having surgery and had no family. That was Merry.  
I think of her often and I still feel her presence at times of concern.  I know many others do too. So fortunate to have known her!

Merry was an extraordinary woman and close friend over the years. She had a true gift of healing and was all heart. She is missed and never forgotten.

Merry was a very unique and gifted person. She put those gifts to good use in her work at Helen Keller, helping those once considered beyond help. She worked small miracles but always remained humble and modest. If she had imperfections, I'm glad, because perhaps that's what kept her humble?  Who else would go out of their way to adopt a three-legged dog? Who else would give up their vacation to sit beside the bed of a deaf/blind person with no family, while they recovered from surgery? That was Merry.  

Merry was a very special, unique person who I will never forget!
She was a natural healer and her soul was as big as the Universe.
She had a unique gift that I believe she spent her whole life trying to understand. She put it to good use in helping others and while working together I saw her perform acts of such huge kindness, that I have never forgotten them. Working with the blind/deaf at Helen Keller, she put all her gifts into helping those unfortunate people. They loved her, as I did.  She remains alive in my heart....always. I miss her but I know she's still near.

Merry was a very very special human being who I've known for over 30 years. She never stopped giving, caring and learning and was the consummate healer. She will be missed greatly.
