Jacquelyn “Jackie” Smith Butler, 78, of Hixson passed away Saturday, June 11, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Dalphia Smith; her brothers, Donald and Dewey Smith; and her sister, Gwendolyn Smith Price.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Delbert Butler; son, Lee (Jan) Butler; daughter, Kelli (Frank) Seymour; grandchildren, Melissa (Jason), Jacob (Jennifer), and Chad; great grandchildren, Autumn, Noah, and Alden; sister, Mildred Butler; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 15 at 11:00 am in the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Reverend Don Ferguson officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4-8 Tuesday and from 10-11 Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4411 Oakwood Drive, Chattanooga, Tennessee 37416.
