He retired from Mountain View Chevrolet. He spent most of his early career with 3M and GE Ceramics. He made many friends at Memorial Cardiac Rehab. He enjoyed traveling and golf.
He is survived by is wife of 57 years, Alice Ellis, two children, Alan (Kayla) Ellis and Michelle Ellis Cunningham, grandchildren, Joshua, Allison, Hannah, Caleigh, Sawyer, Salem, Soraya, and Sandro, and four great grandchildren and a brother, George “Butch” (Victoria) Ellis.
The family will receive friends from 2-6 on Saturday, September 5 at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorial made be made to Martin Boyd Christian Home 6845 Standifer Gap Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
