Faye was a member of Melville Baptist Church. She had been employed at Hamilton County Nursing Home and Parkridge Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons; a granddaughter; a brother and four sisters.
Faye is survived by her husband of 56 years, John F. Ward; two sons, Randy (Mechelle) Ward and David (Sue) Ward; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday and 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the North Chapel.
Funeral services for Faye will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the North Chapel with Rev. Curtis Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist.
