Mirthey Pauline "Polly" Cannon passed away peacefully February 3. She was born in Sewanee, Tennessee in 1927 to the late Mirthey and Daniel Tucker. She worked as an LPN and Doctor's Assistant after graduation. She then began a highly successful 32 year career at Dupont.
Polly is survived by her husband of 65 years, Joe Cannon, her son and his wife, Spencer and Janis Cannon, and granddaughter, Elizabeth Cannon.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, 7 February at 1 p.m., Hamilton Memorial Gardens, Chattanooga, Tennessee. Reverend Jim Patterson will officiate. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society.
