Nancy Neal

Nancy was born in Castlewood, Virginia, where she was a resident for 24 years and a 1966 graduate of Castlewood High School. Nancy was raised by her grandparents, Will and Nancy Castle who raised her till she was 8 years old. She loved her aunts and uncles

who took time to teach her to read and work.

Nancy enjoyed working in the best stores in Chattanooga (Millers and Lovemans), she started as a salesperson and was promoted through the years as assistant management.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Daniel Jessee and David Jessee.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Patrick “Pat” Neal; daughter, Veronica (Gary) Neal; siblings, Patricia Leonard, Richard Jessee and Deborah Austin; many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 pm on Wednesday, July 8, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Nancy’s life will follow at 3 pm on Wednesday at the North Chapel with Reverend Roy Gentry officiating.
