Nancy Faye Vineyard

August 8, 2024, Nancy “Nanny” Faye Conley Vineyard passed away at home with her loving husband Cecil by her side. She was born on Sept 14, 1944 and spent her 79 years devoted to her family and her church.

Cecil and Nancy married in 1963 and later moved to Hixson, TN where they created a loving home for their 4 beautiful children. Nancy built her life around her home and family, something that gave her great joy. Not a day went by where Nanny did not talk about how much her children and grandchildren meant to her - her family was arguably her most important achievement in life.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Thelma and William, her brothers Bob, Earl, and Nick and her sister Joyce. She is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years, Cecil, her brother Richard, her children, Gary, Kelly (Mike), Joe (Suzanne), and Krystal (Cody), and her 10 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 12th from 6-8 pm and on Tuesday, August 13th from 2-3 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel-Hixson. The funeral service will be in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 pm Tuesday with Pastor Mitch McClure officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
