Neal R Parker Sr, 82, went home to be with the Lord on December 21,2017. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Shearlie and Maude S. Parker and his five brothers.
He was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church, where he was an usher for many years and a member of the Fellowship Life Group. Neal retired from Bell South after 30 years of service.Neal loved to work with his hands, making cabinets and furniture for many years. He enjoyed playing golf as much as possible. He was a past president and proud member of the Red Bank Lions Club. He was also a member of the East Lake Masonic Lodge He loved to fish.
Neal is survived by his loving wife, Jane Parker, son Neal “Rick” (Ava) Parker Jr. and, daughter Gigi Parker, step-children Bob (Heather) Frost and Kathy Baker, 9 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
Dr. Fred Steelman and Rev. Bill Harvey will be officiating the service.
Family will receive friends from 4pm to 8pm on Friday and 12pm to 2pm on Saturday with service at 2pm in the Chapel.
Honorary pallbearers are the members of the Fellowship Life Group at Red Bank Baptist Church.
