Nellie was a member of Hixson First Baptist Church. She retired as a teller from DuPont Credit Union
Nellie was preceded in death by her parents Jonah and Fannie Mae Hinson; seven siblings
Nellie is survived by her husband Joe Raynes; children Tammie Hall, Cindy Smith and Michelle Moss; granddaughters Tanya , Taylor, Tiffani and Holland; great grandson Carson; three siblings Frances Fowler, Jean Eades and Ted Hinson; several nieces and nephews
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 24 , 2015 from 12-2pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel
Funeral service for Nellie will be conducted at 2 pm on Monday, August 24 in the funeral home chapel
Interment to follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Nellie’s name to the Pet Placement Center, 5975 Dayton Blvd, Chattanooga, TN 37415
