She was a member of Bayside Baptist Church. Geneva was a 1952 graduate of Central High School.
She was an accomplished square and round dancer, and an award-winning ballroom dancer.
Geneva was a Branch Manager for Kelly Services in Chattanooga and Savannah, Georgia. After her retirement she as an Avon administrator and representative, receiving many sales awards through her career.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Joseph and Rutha Jane Monday, her sisters, Lorene White, Dorothy Bradford, and Barbara Wofford; her brother, Clyde Thomas Munday, and her husband, Jack Yonge.
Geneva is survived by her sister, Mary Cronon, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the graveside in Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Hixson on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at 2:00 PM EDT with Joe Munday officiating.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1:00 PM until service time at North Chapel.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, TN 37343.
