Nona Ann Rudd

Nona was born to Jake Shelby and Dorothy Harrold. She Married George Vandergriff. Nona was a homemaker, seamstress at J W Bray, Knitter at WillWear Hosiery and a clerk at Kay’s Castle. She was a caring and giving and would feed anyone what she had. Nona was of the Baptist faith. She loved the Lord and everyone else. Nona would cook for others and family their favorite meal ( cakes, cookies, pies or candy on birthdays, holidays or just because)

Nona is preceded in death by her parents Jake Shelby and Dorothy Harrold; George Vandergriff; grandparents Brother Bill England; sister Debbie Shelby; aunt Sharron Ivey and Margie Patrick; Niece Annette Shadden; Nephew David Vandergriff

Nona is survived by her sons Tim and Robert( Charlotte) Vandergriff ; Daughter Glenda Sue ( Steve) Coleman

Grandchildren Stephanie, Laura, Michaela , Bridgett, and Bobby ; Dallas

Great grandchildren Jonathan and Jensen

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 7th from 4-8 pm and Friday, March 8th from 4 – 8 pm and Saturday from 10 until the time of service at Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel

Funeral service will be conducted at 11:30 am on Saturday, March 9 in the funeral home chapel

With Pastor Chris Rutterford and Cleve Blizzard officiating

Entombment will follow to Hamilton Memorial Gardens
