Norma was always kind and with a joyful spirit. As a young woman, she quit school to support her parents. In the late 70’s, she acquired her GED. During World War II, Norma worked for The Army Depot, delivering the mail by motorcycle. She was a member of St. Jude’s Catholic Church and the Ladies Guild, the Red Bank Homemakers and in Illinois, the Daughters of Isabella.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph Wille.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Gretchen and Bill Roberts, of Chattanooga; Becky and Gary Manes of Nashville; sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel and Vickie Wille of Pittsburgh, PA; Tom and Sharon Wille of Denver, CO; grandchildren, Brittany and Samantha Roberts, Alex and Danielle Manes, Sara, Jessica, Rachel, Kristin, Kyle, Kane and Kassidy Wille.
A Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 30 at St. Jude Catholic Church with Father Charlie Burton officiating. Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
