Jackie and Janie, so sorry and shocked at the news of her death. I will always remember her in my heart the way she was all happy and looking great the day she came to visit at LCCRB. Jack and Janie, I know how hard it is to lose your mother. Opal was a very special person and a great mom. She and my mother were such great buddies. She was so lovable, fun and young at heart, I loved seeing the pictures of her dressed up at Halloween. I know she loved you all very much. We will all miss her.

OPAL WAS SUCH A DELIGHT TO VISIT...ALWAYS SMILING, AND TELLING FUNNY STORIES! SHE WAS A DEAR FRIEND TO MY MOTHER, MARY INGRAM QUARLES. MOTHER AND I WOULD STOP IN TO SEE OPAL AND SHE WAS ALWAYS SO HOSPITABLE, INVITING US IN AND MAKING US FEEL RIGHT AT HOME. SHE LOVED HER GIRLS, JACKIE AND JANIE. BOTH ARE TO BE COMMENDED FOR THE LOVE AND CARE THEY SHOWED THEIR MOTHER ALL THE WAY TO THE END. WE WILL SURELY MISS OPAL AND HER FOREVER FRIENDSHIP. OUR DEEPEST REGRETS....RITA INGRAM BRITTON
