Oscar Eugene Prince, 97, native of Chattanooga, Tennessee passed away on February 22, 2019. He lived in Cleveland, Tennessee when he was younger and also was a graduate of Bradley Central High School in 1940. He is a member of White Oak United Methodist Church, American Legion Post #14, Brickmason Local #8 for 64 years. He worked for the U.S. Forest Service before World War II and one year after. He was a veteran of World War II serving with 2nd Air Corps for 3 years, 3 months and 3 days as a sergeant and air craft mechanic and inspector of air crafts. He liked golf, boxing and car mechanics.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Matt Prince and Mary Venner Prince; sisters, Ophelia Mazzarella and Patricia Kirby; son, Thomas Eric Prince.
He is survived by wife, Betty D. Prince; daughters, Saundra Mae (Thomas) Morgan and Charlene (David) Houser; son, Eugene Venner Prince; grandchildren, Machelle Waters, Pam Coates, Philip Prince, Matthew Prince, Leslie Prince, Scott Houser, Jason Houser and Deidre Houser; 16 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Monday, February 25, 2019 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel. A graveside service will be held privately by the family.
