Oscar M. Ridge, 60, of Chattanooga passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2010 after a long battle with cancer.
He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He had many friends and family. He was employed with Eslinger Contractor Company. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Ridge, Sr. and Flossie Ridge and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years Margie Williford Ridge; son, Frank (Cindy) Phillips; daughter, Laura (Travis) Holder; son, Joseph Ridge; grandchildren, Seth Phillips, Heather Olsen and Ashley Olsen (Corey) Spears; great-grandson, Jaxon Spears; four sisters, Mary Hudson, Elizabeth Ridge, Brenda Thacker, and Debra Layne; two brothers, Eugene Ridge and Delmar Ridge.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, September 12, 2010 at the North Chapel with Rev. Denny Manning officiating.
Interment will follow at Teague Cemetery in Powell’s Cross- Roads, Tennessee.
Visitation will be from 4 – 8 PM on Friday and 4 - 8 PM on Saturday and Sunday from noon until the time of the service at the North Chapel.
