Pamela Sanders Harrington

Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Pamela was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She graduated from Broad Run High School in Ashburn, Virginia, in 1976. Throughout her life, she continued her education, earning an Associate Degree in Culinary Arts in 1992, a Massage Therapy Certificate in 2000, and becoming a State Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in 2004.

Pamela was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had a deep love for art, especially painting and creating crafts. More than anything, she cherished spending time with her family, creating lasting memories with those she loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Col. Dr. Daniel Thomas Sanders and Gay New Sanders; her grandmothers, Erie Sanders and Lela New; her brother, Karl Deen Sanders; and her brother-in-law, Ron Williams.

Pamela is survived by her beloved husband, David C. Harrington of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee; her four children, Paula (John) Morey of Athens, Alabama, Tricia Bebee of Spring Hill, Florida, Thomas Bebee of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Peggy Lyons of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; eleven grandchildren, Tosha, Brent, Hunter, Christopher, Isabela, Arianna, Gabe, Oscar, Neal, Elius, and Liam; two great-grandchildren; her siblings, Melanie (David) Urick of Washington, Danny (Linda) Sanders of Platte City, Missouri, Tracy Williams of Kansas City, Missouri, and Dawn Usher of Jeffersonville, Indiana; her sister-in-law, Vanessa Sanders of California; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3010 Hamill Road, Hixson, TN 37343, with Bishop Joe Heiss officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
