She was born in Niota, TN, on April 27, 1938.
Patricia was an active member of St. John United Methodist Church for many years, and was also longtime employee of the Tennessee Valley Authority. She was an avid reader, especially of the Bible. Patricia enjoyed shopping, crafts, cooking, and socializing with friends.
She is survived by her son, James Alan (Amy) Potter, her daughter Elizabeth Niswonger (Jeff) Gass; grandchildren, Rachel Potter, Jay Potter, Jacob Potter, Colton Brooks, Grace Brooks Jake Gass, and Garrett Gass; and 6 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Patricia will be private.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials may be made to the charity of your choice in honor of Patricia Niswonger.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, TN 37343.
