She was born to Ira and June on July 18, 1943 in Pulaski, TN. Peggie was known for her love of music, particularly Connie Francis, Elvis, and Wynona Judd. When she was not listening to music, she enjoyed watching old tv shows and spending Sunday dinners with family.
Peggie is preceded in death by her parents, listed above and sister, Flora Griffith.
Survivors include brother, William McCreless; nephews, Aaron McCreless, Ricky (Sheri) Griffith, and Randy (Teresa) Griffith; niece, Lori Tatum; and a host of great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made out to a charity or ministry of your choosing.
A graveside service for Peggie will be held Saturday, October 25, 2025 at 1:00 EST at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Huntland, TN officiated by Rev. Steve Moore.
