Phong enjoyed most things outdoors, especially biking, fishing, and going to the park with his children. He also loved to cook.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Thanh Kim Dao. Survivors include his wife, Minh-Hieu Le; his children, Ryan Tolentino, Caitlin Dao, and Zackery Dao; his parents, Thao Thanh Dao and Kimla Thi Nguyen; sister, Myduyen Dao and her husband, Dung Luc; sister, Ngoc Dao and her husband, Tuan Nguyen; niece, Haley and nephews, Hunter, Lucas and Marcus.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 4th from 2-6 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel, Hixson. The funeral service will be at 9:30 am Monday, August 5th at the funeral home, with burial at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
