

Randall Oliver Wallace Sr., a faithful, generous, hard-working, and wise man, passed away on January 17, 2026, at the age of 98. Born to the late M.C. and Bertha Mae Wallace on April 5, 1927, in West Monroe, Louisiana, Randy was one of four siblings. As a young boy, his family moved to Newellton, Louisiana.
At the age of 17, Randall enlisted in the Navy, serving his country in World War II and the Korean War during his four-year military service. When he honorably completed his first enlistment in the Navy, he furthered his education at LSU, where he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree and became a lifelong LSU Tiger fan.
After being discharged for the second time, he worked for Exxon as a marketing representative for 30 years. He retired from Exxon in 1982 and started his own firm, ROW Enterprises, which handled natural gas sales.
Randall married Dorothy Hope Davis on January 20, 1950, and together they raised four children. They shared a loving marriage for 42 years.
In his personal life, Randy loved gardening, playing golf, going on family camping trips, and watching LSU football. He was deeply involved in his community as a member of Oakwood Baptist Church for many years. A long-time member of the East Hamilton Lions Club, he served as president and treasurer on many occasions and was on the Board of Directors for many years at the Lions Eye Bank and Sight Services.
Randy is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Wallace and his son, Jeffrey Wallace.
Survivors include his children, Gail (Herb) Spaulding, Randall (Janet) Wallace Jr., and Steven Wallace; grandchildren, Kate Wallace, Meryl Corbin, Jack Wallace, Colin Spaulding, and Brett Romines; great-grandchildren, Morgan, Ethan, Coral, Coleson, and Carter Grace; and sister, Lillian Tatum.
Randy will be laid to rest with his wife at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with private family services.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Hearth Hospice, Gabriel, and Christy for the compassionate care they gave Randy.
