Rebekah Anne Batten, 21, of Harrison, Tennessee passed away on May 2, 2017. She is survived by her parents, Jonas and Lisa Batten; sisters Rachel and Sarah Batten; grandparents Bob and Barbara Batten and Don and Sharon Pardue; great-grandmother Eva Girman; great-grandmother Frances Greenway; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Rebekah was a vivacious, loving young lady who was known for her contagious smile. She never met a stranger! She enjoyed ballet, gymnastics, and the Chattanooga Girls Choir when she was younger. As she matured and bravely fought her disease, she enjoyed family trips, reading, TV, and spending time with loved ones. She attended Meadowview Baptist Church faithfully. She positively glowed with the love of the Lord! She will be missed by so many. Visitation will be held at Meadowview Baptist Church (10715 Ooltewah-Georgetown Road) on Saturday, May 6 from 2 pm to 5 pm and on Sunday, May 7 from 2 pm to 4 pm. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Meadowview Baptist Church on Sunday, May 7 at 4 pm. Chattanooga Funeral Home (North Chapel of Hixson) will be officiating.
