Reid, you are our double rainbow baby - our symbol of hope after so much loss. In the short time we had with you, you were already so full of life, light, and love, fulfilling your purpose in so many special ways. We will always treasure how your strongest kicks came when you were surrounded by the noise of all the people who loved you most. We know your love for us was already so big, and we will never forget the little moments we were able to build memories with you. We were so ready to meet you, raise you, and know you in every perfect way.
You are deeply loved and were eagerly awaited by us, your Mama and Dada, Kristen and Daniel Griffith, but especially by your big brother, Ryne David Griffith. Your grandparents - Gigi and Poppy (Kristi and Bob Shain), Mamaw (Lee Ledford), Yeti and Lula (David Griffith and Marlene Whittle), and Papaw (Robert Ledford) - along with your great Paps and Grandma (Larry and Ada Johnson), and all of your aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends - the list of people who love you is so very long.
We know that you were welcomed into Heaven with so much love by your uncle Dougie (Douglass Buckley), your big sister, Finley Faith Griffith, and your Dada’s grandparents (Bill and Louise Sherrill and TR and Barbara Griffith).
While we wish you were here with us every single moment, we know that this isn’t goodbye - it’s only until we meet you again. You are and always will be our double rainbow, our reminder of love, and hope that will never fade.
We love you.
We’re so proud of you.
We’re so glad you’re ours.
There will be no services at this time. Reid will be honored in the hearts of those who loved him until a later date.
