Rick Ellis, 60, of Signal Mountain died Friday, September 16, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar "Dave" and Jean Ellis. He was a good Christian man, who was a friend to all who knew him. He would want us to celebrate all the love and laughter that was Rick. He leaves many wonderful memories in the hearts and minds of all who were fortunate to have met him in this life. It’s those memories we will carry with us until we see him again in the next life. He enjoyed playing low ball golf at many area courses and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Ginger Michelle Ellis; two sons, Hunter Ellis and Nick Ellis; and brother, Mike Ellis.
The family would like to especially thank his caretaker Rose, and Katie Lloyd with Avalon Hospice for their care that was above and beyond our highest expectations.
Private graveside services will be held.
