Rita Scott, 65, passed away on Wed, December 29, 2021. Rita was a native of Chattanooga and currently living in Cedartown, GA. She was an avid gardener, a caregiver for any animal she could help and friend to anyone who met her.
Rita was preceded in death by her parents, Jennings White Roddy and Frances Rogers Roddy; and her son James Ashley Scott.
She is survived by her son, Wade Scott; granddaughter, Katie Knox; great grandson, McClain Bailey; brother, Don Roddy; and sister, Judy White.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel, Hixson.
