Robert Jameson, age 71, of Chattanooga went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, April 30, 2012. He was born in Denver, Colorado to the late Robert and Charlotte Jameson. He retired after a long career as an electrician. Robert was an active member of Silverdale Baptist Church where he was a member of Greg Bolton’s Sunday School Class and he faithfully served in the pre school, was a Church Greeter and worked in the Divorce Care Ministry. He loved to help people.
Preceded in death by sister, Judi Pinelli.
Survived by loving wife of 27 years, Linda Jameson; four children, Greg (Lisa) Jameson of Kansas City, Missouri, Sherry (James) Bullard of Chattanooga, Kim Shamblin of Chattanooga and Ron Shamblin of Denver, Colorado; four grandchildren, Carter Jameson, Alex Ray, Daniel Weaver (Ashley), Ashley Ray; great granddaughter, Laila Bettis; brother, Sam (Diane) Jameson of Denver, Colorado.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 2 PM at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Walliser officiating. Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 from 4 PM to 8 PM and on Thursday from 11 AM to 1: 30 PM at the funeral home.
