Rose was a member of White Oak Baptist Church and was the “Best Mom in the World”.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hurley F. Bowman; parents, Harvey and Lula Bell Willis Keenum; siblings, Covel (Ann), Chester (Della), Bill (Virginia), and Floyd (Marie) Keenum, Irene (Theodore) Tippett, Mildred Phillips, and Jackie Keenum.
Rose is survived by her daughters, Rochelle (Ronnie) Bolton, and Allison Hixson; grandson, Brett (Jessie) Bolton; great granddaughter, Brylee Bolton.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 pm on Thursday, September 15, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life Service for Rose will be held at 12:30 pm on Friday, at the North Chapel with Dr. Tony Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest by her late husband.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, TN.
