She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Sanders, Sr; parents, Harvey C. And Fannie B. Ellis; brothers, Grady and Garland Ellis; sister, Ruth Hood and a grandson, Brenton Sanders.
Survivors include her son, Charles (Kate) Sanders, Jr; brother, Harvey (Evelyn) Ellis and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Thursday at 1:00 PM at the North Chapel with entombment in Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Hixson. There will not be any visitation at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, 120 Wall Street, 29th Floor, New York, NY 10005.
