Samuel Wilbourn LeMay, 78 of Soddy Daisy went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday September 18, 2019. Sam was a member of Alpine Baptist Church. He was an active member of the Soddy Daisy Jaycee’s as well as a former vice president of the Tennessee State Chapter. Sam graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Chattanooga. He was owner of Service Incorporated Heating and Air.
Sam was preceded in death by his parents, John and Laura LeMay, and a brother, Jim LeMay.
Left behind to cherish Sam’s memory are his wife of 59 years, Nellie LeMay, sons, Bryon (Blanch) LeMay and Chuck (Doug) LeMay, 2 grandchildren, Jamie (Jaime) LeMay and Janet (Mark) King, 8 great-grandchildren, and many close friends.
A Celebration of Sam’s Life will be held in the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Saturday September 21, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jimmy Fowler officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday evening at the funeral home from 6-9 p.m. He will be laid to rest in the Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Sam’s memory to the charity of your choice.
